Global Initiative for Rights and Development (GIRD) is a non for profit organization (NGO) formed in 2016 and registered with National Bureau for Non- Governmental Organizations in 2019 (Reg. No S.5919/14647). GIRD’s goal is to catalyze change by supporting community and national efforts to sustainably improve the wellbeing of vulnerable children, young people and women in Uganda.
